Predstavništvo Evropske komisije v Republiki Sloveniji in Urad vlade za komuniciranje v izvedbi Centra Evropa vas v petek, 25. septembra 2009, med 11. in 17. uro vabita na celodnevni družabni dogodek z naslovom »Jezikovna potepanja«. Dogodek bo potekal V Miklošičevem parku nasproti Centra Evropa, v primeru slabega vremena pa v Centru Evropa, Dalmatinova 4, Ljubljana.

Ljubitelji tujih jezikov boste v pestrem programu prav gotovo našli kaj primernega zase:

PROGRAM:
11.00  Uvodna nagovora direktorice Urada vlade za komuniciranje Veronike Stabej in vodje Predstavništva Evropske komisije v Sloveniji Mihele Zupančič.

11.15 in 12.25  Branje poezije v različnih jezikih držav Evropske unije in kandidatk za članstvo v sodelovanju z učenci Osnovne šole Danile Kumar iz Ljubljane.

11.50 in 13.30  Lutkovna predstava »Princesin zaklad – Uganke na gusarski ladji« v izvedbi Sabine Schröder–Zobel. Predstava je primerna za otroke, stare od 8 do 10 let, ki se vsaj eno leto učijo nemščine kot tujega jezika.

13.00, 14.05 in 15.00  Kratki popotniški tečaji švedščine (13.00), poljščine (14.05) in litovščine (15.00) za obiskovalce dogodka.

14.35, 15.30 in 16.15  Večjezična pantomima s pantomimikom Danijem Petkom. Vabljeni, da se potegujete za praktične nagrade!

16.00  Pogovor z red. prof. dr. Markom Stabejem z oddelka za slovenistiko Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani o izzivih slovenskega jezika v prihodnosti.

Med 11.00 in 17. 00  Večjezična knjižnica, ki jo bomo v parku postavili v sodelovanju s Knjižnico pod krošnjami (http://www.knjiznicapodkrosnjami.si).

Med 11.00 in 17.00  Mednarodna klepetalnica »Pri poliglotu« - v sodelovanju z British Councilom v Sloveniji, Goethe Institutom Ljubljana, francoskim inštitutom Charles Nodier, španskim Instituto Cervantes Ljubljana in italijanskim inštitutom za kulturo v Sloveniji bomo v parku gostili naravne govorce angleščine, nemščine, francoščine, španščine in italijanščine, s katerimi boste lahko poklepetali v sproščenem vzdušju.

Na stojnici Predstavništva Evropske komisije v Sloveniji bodo na voljo informacije v zvezi z jeziki, prevajanjem in tolmačenjem v EU ter politiko večjezičnosti, ki jo razvijajo in izvajajo evropske institucije.

CONFUSING WORDS HEAR or LISTEN

HEAR refers to the action of receiving sounds in our ears unintentionally.

LISTEN refers to the action of paying attention to the sounds in our ears.

ADVERBS OF MANNER

These adverbs tell us in what way someone does something.
FORM: Adjective + ly

3. If an adjective ends with BLE, the adverbs ends with BLY: (comfortable - comfortably)
4. If an adjective ends with IC, the adverbs ends with ICALLY: (dramatic- dramatically)

Ker med učenjem hitro postanemo lačni, vas tokrat z objavo tradicionalnega angleškega recepta mesne pite vabimo h kuhanju. Po želji lahko recept prilagodite in uporabite tudi sir, por, koruzo ali peteršilj. V pomoč vam bo slovarček na dnu recepta. Dober tek!

Cottage pie is a traditional English dish made with minced meat covered with mashed potato and often topped with cheese. While a variety of meats can be used, the dish is traditionally made from beef or lamb.

Ingredients
1 lb cooked beef - cold
3/4 lb cooked bacon
1 cup of cold potatoes
1 cup of breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 oz butter
2 onions (minced)
Gravy
Seasoning

Method
Mince the beef and bacon, season to taste.
Fry the minced onion in butter till brown, then add the gravy and boil for ten minutes.
Mix the egg, meat, bacon, potatoes and breadcrumbs together, add to the onion gravy.
Mix well and place in a greased pie-dish.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve hot with vegetables, or cold with salad.
